a. "Account" means the prepaid account relating to Your Card and established by Us in Your name.

b. "Account ID" means the unique identifier You use to access Your Advanced Cash Account.

c. “Advanced Cash” means ADV Project Limited a company incorporated in Gibraltar under registration number 110152 the registered office of which is G1 Haven Court, 5 Library Ramp, Gibraltar. 

d. "Advanced Cash Account" means Your Advanced Cash Account provided to you by Advanced Cash and subject to the Advanced Cash Accountholder Terms and Conditions.

e. "Card" means the Advanced Cash MasterCard issued to You by US under these Terms and Conditions.

f. "MasterCard" means MasterCard International Incorporated or its successors or assigns.

g. "Merchant" means a retailer or any other person or firm or company providing goods or services that accepts cards displaying the MasterCard acceptance symbol in payment for such.

h. "Online Account System" means the system and software used to run Your Advanced Cash Account located at the Website.

i. "PIN" means the personal identification number which We issue or approve to be used with Your Card.

j. "Terms and Conditions" means these terms and conditions together with the Fees Summary, any supplementary terms and conditions and amendments from time to time that We may notify You of in accordance with the terms of section 13.

k. "Transaction" means any cash withdrawal or purchase of goods or services (as appropriate) completed by You using Your Card.

l. "Us" or "We" or "Our" means Wave Crest Holdings Limited and it's subsidiaries and associates.

m. "Wave Crest" means Wave Crest Holdings Limited, whose registered office is at 57/63 Line Wall Road, Gibraltar, the issuer of the Card.

n. "Website" means or the website address printed on the reverse of Your Card.

o. "You" or "Your" or "Cardholder" means the person entering into these Terms and Conditions with Us.

2.1. These Terms and Conditions govern Your use of Your Card and the value of the funds held in Your Account. We may amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The up-to-date version of these Terms and Conditions will be posted on the Website. You should check the Website regularly so that You can see the latest version. You will be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any amendments to them. The Fees Summary forms part of these Terms and Conditions. We recommend that You print a copy of these Terms and Conditions for Your records.

2.2. You will be issued a Card and Account by Us. The Card and Account will be used in conjunction with Your Advanced Cash Account. The funds for all Transactions are held on Your Advanced Cash Account and no interest will be paid on those funds. When You make a Transaction using Your Card, the value of the Transaction plus any associated fees (see Fees Summary) will be loaded from Your Advanced Cash Account to Your Account and used to complete the Transaction.

2.3. Your Card is a prepaid card and the funds loaded onto Your Card are called electronic money. Your Card is not a credit card, charge card or a debit card. You can only spend to the value of the funds that You load onto it. All Cards and Virtual Cards are issued by Us pursuant to a licence by MasterCard.

2.4. These Terms and Conditions relate to Your use of the Card and the values held in Your Account. Your Advanced Cash Account is issued by Advanced Cash, and the terms and conditions of use of Your Advanced Cash Account are subject to separate terms and conditions between you and Advanced Cash.

2.5. There is no deposit guarantee scheme that applies to the electronic money held in Your Account and accessed by Your Card. No other compensation schemes exist to cover losses claimed in connection with Your Card. This means that in the event that We become insolvent Your funds may become valueless and unusable and You may lose Your money that is held on your Card. 


3.1. To apply for a Card You must be at least 18 years old. We will also need to know some information about you before we can issue you a Card. We will need to verify your identity; that means We will check Your identity and where You live. We may use third parties to obtain this information, which may also contain credit checks on Our behalf.

3.2. We reserve the right to refuse to issue or activate a Card.

3.3. By applying for and using Your Card, You agree to be bound to these Terms and Conditions. You can activate the Card on the Website. A fee may apply for activation, (see Fees Summary). If you have any problems activating Your Card, please contact Customer Services.

3.4. If you apply for and receive a Card, you must sign it as soon as you receive it.

3.5. By applying for and activating Your Card You agree to abide by all local laws in relation to your use of Your Card as relevant.


4.1. Once your Card is activated, You can start using it at Merchants and ATMs and You may spend funds up to the value held in Your Advanced Cash Account.

4.2. You can use Your Card to purchase goods and services anywhere MasterCard is accepted subject to there being sufficient funds in Your Advanced Cash Account and subject to these Terms and Conditions. You can also withdraw cash at an ATM or financial institution displaying the MasterCard logo or name subject to the relevant terms and conditions of the relevant provider of the ATM or relevant financial institution and there being sufficient funds in Your Advanced Cash Account and the Merchant or financial institution being able to verify this online.

4.3. There are withdrawal limits for the use of Your Card; please see the Website for details.

4.4. ATM cash withdrawals are limited to a max of USD/EUR 200.00 or USD/EUR 3000.00 per day depending on your verification status (or approximate local country equivalent) or other lower limits that may be set by the relevant ATM or financial institution. An ATM withdrawal fee may apply (see Fees Summary for further details). You may be subject to any applicable fees, surcharges, rules and regulations of the relevant ATM or other financial institution. It is Your responsibility to check before proceeding with Your Transaction.

4.5. You cannot load Your Advanced Cash Account with Your Card.

4.6. You can only load Your Card from Your Advanced Cash Account. External loads may result in Your Card being blocked, and documents proving the legitimate nature of external load transactions may be requested.

4.7. We reserve the right to decline any Transactions at Our discretion. We shall not be liable in the event that a Merchant refuses to accept Your Card or if We do not authorise a Transaction, or if We cancel or suspend use of Your Card. Unless otherwise required by law, We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage You may suffer as a result of Your total or partial use or inability to use Your Card, or the use of Your Card by any third party.

4.8. You must not spend more money than you have in Your Advanced Cash Account or misuse Your Card. We will take any such action seriously and take any steps necessary to enforce any actions against you.

4.9. In certain sectors, Merchants such as car hire companies, hotels and other service providers will estimate the sum of money You may spend or for which You require authorisation. The estimate may be for more than the amount you spend or are charged. This means that some of the funds on Your Account may be held for up to 45 days and accordingly, you will not be able to spend this sum during this period. We cannot release such sum without authorisation from the Merchant.

4.10. Merchants may not be able to authorise a Transaction if they cannot obtain authorisation from Us. Any refunds for goods or services purchased with Your Card may only be returned as a credit to the Card or to the Virtual Card. You are not entitled to receive refunds in cash.

4.11. If, for any reason, a Transaction is processed that is more than the funds in Your Account, You will be responsible for paying the outstanding amount. You agree to pay us the outstanding amount immediately on demand. We reserve the right to automatically debit such outstanding amount from any additional amounts you subsequently load to Your Advanced Cash Account.

4.12. We may refuse to authorise a Transaction if We reasonably believe that You are not complying with these Terms and Conditions, or if We need to do so to keep within the rules of the payment scheme under which We issue Your Card, or if We reasonably believe that We need to do so to comply with any law or requirement of any applicable regulatory body.

4.13. We accept no responsibility for the goods or services purchased by you with Your Card. All such disputes must be addressed directly with the Merchant providing the relevant goods or services. Once you have used Your Card to make a purchase, We cannot stop that Transaction.

4.14. Transactions made using Your Card require the use of Your PIN. All Transactions made using Your PIN are deemed to be authorised by you. You will be responsible for all Transactions made using Your PIN.

4.15. You may not use your Card for any transaction which is illegal in your country of residence.


If You use Your Card to purchase goods or services or withdraw cash in a currency other than the issue currency of Your Card, then such a Transaction will be converted to the currency of Your Card on the day We receive details of such a Transaction. We will use MasterCard-authorised rates applicable for such a Transaction. A foreign exchange fee will also apply (see Fees Summary for further details).


6.1. Your Card is valid for the period stated on it, unless its use is terminated earlier by Us in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Transactions will not be authorised once Your Card expires.

6.2. We may renew Your Card when it expires. If you ask, We may also replace a damaged Card. A Fee may apply (see Fees Summary).

6.3. If a new Card has not been issued to you all funds (if any) held in Your Account will revert to Your Advanced Cash Account.

6.4. If you receive a refund on Your Card, the refund will be paid to Your Advanced Cash Account. Remember, Your Advanced Cash Account may only be used in accordance with its terms and conditions of use as agreed between You and Advanced Cash.


If You choose to close or surrender Your Card then all funds relating to it will be returned to Your Advanced Cash Account. You may liquidate your Advanced Cash Account in accordance with your Advanced Cash Accountholder Terms and Conditions.


8.1. You must keep Your Card safe. Your Card is personal to you and you must not give it to anyone else to use. You must not damage or bend Your Card. You must ensure that you keep Your Card in a safe place. You must take all reasonable precautions to prevent fraudulent use of Your Card.

8.2. You will receive a PIN for Your Card and you must keep Your PIN safe. This means that when You receive Your PIN You must memorise it. If You receive a notification slip with the PIN then You must destroy it. You must keep Your PIN secret at all times. You must not disclose Your PIN to anyone including friends, family or Merchant staff. You must not write Your PIN down anywhere. You must not use Your PIN if someone else can see You typing it in.

8.3. If you suspect that someone else knows Your PIN, change it as soon as possible. If you have forgotten Your PIN You must call Customer Services and they will arrange for a PIN reminder to be sent to You.


9.1. We will not be responsible for any loss, costs or expenses whatsoever that You may suffer or incur if something that We are not reasonably able to control, including but not limited to defects relating to Your Card, stops or delays Us from doing something We are supposed to do under these Terms and Conditions.

9.2. If You are affected by an incident which is Our fault, We will only be responsible for the direct financial loss You suffer as a direct result up to a maximum of the balance on Your Card (as relevant) at the time the incident occurred.

9.3. If You have acted fraudulently, You will be liable for all losses on Your Advanced Cash Account. If you act without reasonable care including by revealing Your PIN number, Account ID or Cvv2 and this causes losses, You may be liable for them. Keep Your PIN safe and ensure that you log-off after all usage.

9.4. Provided You have complied fully with these Terms and Conditions, not acted fraudulently or without reasonable care, You will not be liable for any Transactions or fees incurred on Your Account if Your Card is used before activation. In the event that You do not use Your Card in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or We find that You are using Your Card fraudulently, We reserve the right to charge You for any reasonable costs that We incur in taking action to stop Your Card being used and to recover any monies owed as a result.

9.5. We accept no responsibility or liability for a Merchant or third party refusing to honour a Transaction on Your Card or for failing to cancel an authorisation.

9.6. Your Card will only work when the Online Account System is working and from time to time Your ability to use Your Card may be interrupted, for example, when We carry out maintenance. If this happens, You may be unable to (a) use Your Card to pay for Transactions, or (b) obtain information about the funds available in Your Online Account and/or about Your recent Card Transactions. We will keep these periods down to as short a period as possible. Please notify Customer Services if You have any problems using Your Card.

9.7. If We know or suspect or wish to prevent misuse of Your Card We may, without notice, (a) refuse to approve a Transaction, (b) cancel or suspend Your right to use Your Card for any purpose, or (c) refuse to replace any Card. We will not be responsible for or incur any liability for any loss or damage that You may suffer as a result.


10.1. You agree that we may use personal information about you in order to conduct appropriate fraud checks. Personal information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference agency, which may keep a record of that information. The processing of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy which also can be found on our Website. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you also agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy. You should print and keep a copy of the Privacy Policy together with these Terms and Conditions.

10.2. Wave Crest collects, stores and processes your data in accordance with the Gibraltar Data Protection Act 2004. In order to provide you with certain cross border services we may have to share your data with entities outside the EEA. By making payments to or by accepting payments from persons or entities outside the EEA, you consent to our sharing of your data with entities outside the EEA as far as this is reasonably necessary for the proper execution of payments or provision of our services.

10.3. If you detect any error in the data we hold on you, you should correct the data in your Account profile or, where this is not possible, by contacting Customer Service.

10.4. As a default, you will receive e-mail newsletters that will inform you about new product features, events, promotions, special deals etc. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree to receive such e-mail newsletters on a regular basis. If you do not wish to receive any newsletters from us, you can opt out at any time by logging into your Account and change the appropriate setting in your Account profile. You can also opt out of receiving newsletters by contacting Customer Service. Any e-mail newsletter you receive will also give you the option to unsubscribe from any future newsletter.

10.5. After termination of your Advanced Cash Account for any reason, we will continue to hold your personal Account data for a period of five years or such other period as prescribed by applicable law.


11.1. You should treat the value on Your Card like cash in a wallet. If Your Card is lost or stolen, You may lose some or all of the value on Your Advanced Cash Account in the same way as if You lost cash.

11.2. If Your Card is lost or stolen or you suspect there may be unauthorised use of Your Card, or if Your Card is damaged or malfunctions, You must immediately contact Customer Services. If We ask, You must also write to Us within seven days to confirm the loss, theft or possible misuse. You will be asked to provide Us with Your Card number number and other information so that We can identify You. You will be responsible for any unauthorised Transactions that take place prior to you notifying Customer Services.

11.3. You may be required to help Us, Our agents or any enforcement agency, at Our request, if Your Card is lost or stolen or if We suspect Your Card is being misused.

11.4. If Your Card is reported lost or stolen We will cancel it and may issue a new one. A fee may apply (See Fees Summary).

11.5. If You find Your Card after You have reported it lost, stolen or misused, You must cut it up and return it to Us.

12. FEES.

Your use of Your Card is subject to the fees and charges set out in the Fees Summary. These fees and charges form an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.


13.1. You can view Your Advanced Cash Account balance and Transactions on the Website but to do so You will need to use Your valid Account ID and Password. You are responsible for keeping Your Account ID and Password secret. If You believe someone else is using Your Log-on ID, Password or may know it You must contact Customer Services immediately.

13.2. If you believe that any Transaction posted to Your Card is unauthorised, has been posted in error or is otherwise incorrect, You must let Us know immediately by contacting Customer Services. We may require You to provide details of Your complaint in writing.

13.3. We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours of receipt. If you do not tell Us within 60 days after a Transaction was made You may not be entitled to a refund. No refund will be made until our investigation is complete. We reserve the right not to refund sums to You if We believe that You have not acted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.


We may change these Terms and Conditions from time to time. All changes to these Terms and Conditions will be posted on the Website and you agree to be bound by the current version of these Terms and Conditions as displayed on the Website. If you are significantly disadvantaged by any such change you may cancel Your Card in accordance with Our cancellation policy (see section 14). In such circumstances you will not be charged a cancellation fee and you will not be subject to the relevant change during the period between the relevant change being made by Us and Your cancellation of Your Card.


15.1. You may cancel Your Card without penalty (a) if you have not activated it, or (b) within 14 days from the date of activation. You may cancel Your Card at any time after the 14 day period, however a cancellation fee will apply (see Fees Summary). To cancel Your Card You must notify Customer Services and return all Card(s) issued, cut in half. You will be responsible for any Transaction you have made or charges incurred before you cancelled Your Card. Once We have been notified by You and, if applicable, received Your Card(s) We will wait 45 days for all Transactions to be processed and then refund the remaining balance of money to Your Advanced Cash Account.

15.2. We can terminate these Terms and Conditions with you if we give You 30 days' notice and refund any remaining funds to Your Advanced Cash Account.

15.3. We can suspend or terminate these Terms and Conditions and Your use of Your Card immediately if (a) You have not complied with these Terms and Conditions, (b) We have reason to believe that You have used or intend to use the Card in a negligent manner or for fraudulent or other unlawful purposes, or (c) We can no longer process Your Transactions for any legal or security reason or due to actions of any third party.

15.4. We can suspend Your Card at any time with immediate effect if (a) We discover that any information You have provided is incorrect or incomplete, or (b) if a Transaction has been declined because of lack of available value in Your Advanced Cash Account.

15.5. If any Transaction, fee, or charge is found to have been incurred on Your Card following cancellation or termination, you agree to pay all such sums to Us immediately on demand.

15.6. Cancellation by Us of Your Card or termination by Us of these Terms and Conditions does not affect Your Advanced Cash Account. Your Advanced Cash Account is managed by Advanced Cash and is subject to the Advanced Cash Accountholder Terms and Conditions.


16.1. We may collect and retain information about you so that We can operate Your Card and deal with any inquiries that You may have about it.

16.2. We are committed to maintaining your personal data in accordance with legal requirements relating to the collection, storage and use of personal data under the terms of the Data Protection Act 2002 and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not pass information We hold about You to any third party other than where (a) We are legally required to disclose, (b) We have a public duty to disclose, (c) Our interests require disclosure; or (d) the disclosure is made with Your consent.

16.3. We may use the services of third parties to provide services on Our behalf which may include the processing of information about You.

16.4. We may share information about You with credit reference agencies to verify Your identity and suitability for a Card.

16.5. We may share information about You to prevent crime, prevent money laundering, for anti-terrorism purposes, to verify Your identity, to recover debt and to meet out legal obligations. We may share information about You both within the Isle of Man, United Kingdom and overseas with Our subsidiaries and affiliates and with Advanced Cash.

16.6. We may contact You to advise You of other products services provided by Us, if You do not want Us to contact You about such products and services please let Us know.

16.7. If We suspect that We have been given false or inaccurate information, We may record and report suspicion together with any other relevant information.

16.8. If false or inaccurate information is provided and fraud is identified, details will be passed to fraud prevention agencies to prevent fraud and money laundering and financing of terrorism.

16.9. We may check all personal information given by You with fraud prevention agencies and other organisations, and We may seek information about You from credit reference agencies to verify Your identity. A record of such enquiries will be kept.

16.10. You have a right to inspect the personal data We hold about You, however We will ask You to pay a fee of EUR 10.00 or currency equivalent to cover Our administration costs. For further information please contact Customer Services.


17.1. If You are not satisfied with the way Your Card is being run You should provide written details of Your concerns to Customer Services. All queries will be handled in accordance with Our complaints procedure. The Customer Services will provide a copy of the complaint procedure upon request. You can also access the complaints procedure on the website.



Your Card is issued by Wave Crest Holdings Limited, a company organised under the laws of Gibraltar with registration number 101302. We are authorised and regulated by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission as an issuer of electronic money. Our FSC Register number is FSC0056BNK. Your Card is the property of Wave Crest and is not transferable to anyone else.


19.1. In these Terms and Conditions, headings are for convenience only and shall not affect interpretation and references to the singular shall include references to the plural and vice versa. Any delay or failure to exercise any right or remedy under these terms and conditions by Us shall not be construed as a waiver of that right or remedy or stop Us from exercising Our rights at any subsequent time.

19.2. You may not novate, assign or transfer any rights and/or benefits under these Terms and Conditions. We may assign, transfer or novate Our rights and benefits and obligations at any time without prior written notice to You. We may subcontract any of Our obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

19.3. If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable then such part shall be severed from the remainder of the Terms and Conditions, which shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

19.4. You will remain responsible for complying with these Terms and Conditions until all Cards and/s issued to Your Account are cancelled (in accordance with these Terms and Conditions) or have expired and all sums due under these terms and conditions have been paid in full.

19.5. These terms and conditions are written and available only in English and all correspondence with You in respect of Your Account shall be in English. In the event that these Terms and Conditions are translated, the English version shall take priority.

19.6. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Gibraltar. Any dispute under these Terms and Conditions or otherwise in connection with your Card shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Gibraltar.
